Report: MLW Set To Lose REELZ TV Deal

MLW Underground "wraps up" on REELZ after 10 weeks, according to a new report

Major League Wrestling's TV deal with REELZ seemingly won't be lasting much longer.

MLW Underground has only aired on the channel for a few weeks, averaging around 83,000 viewers per episode, but Variety have reported that MLW's partnership with REELZ "wraps up after 10 weeks." This comes after REELZ announced their linear channel and on-demand programming would be available on Peacock from March 1. MLW Underground, which airs at 10 pm on Tuesday nights can't air on Peacock, though, as WWE has an exclusivity clause in their agreement with Peacock.

"Peacock is also exclusive streaming provider of WWE wrestling. Because of that category exclusivity, when Reelz airs Major League Wrestling live on Tuesday evenings at 10 p.m., its linear channel won't be available on the platform during that time. But Major League Wrestling wraps up after 10 weeks, making Reelz's Tuesday 10 p.m. linear offerings available after that," Variety wrote.

If MLW Underground will air on a different channel after 10 weeks has not been revealed.
