Report: More Details On AEW Fyter Fest 2020

Part 2 will be taped in advance...

On last night's episode of Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling announced Fyter Fest will be a two-week event broadcast on July 1 and July 8. This will be the young promotion's next destination event before they return to pay-per-view with All Out on September 5.

Two matches have already been announced for the card as Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against Brian Cage, while Kenny Omega and "Hangman" Adam Page will face off against Best Friends for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.

Dave Meltzer revealed more details on the destination show on Wrestling Observer Radio. Part one of the event will be broadcast live on TNT on July 1, but part two will be taped in advance on July 2. The promotion has also already written all of its TV until July 1, while the show itself has been booked exactly like a pay-per-view and will include pay-per-view length matches.

Meltzer said: "It will be taped July 1st and 2nd. The first show will be live, the second show will not be live… There may be small modifications but pretty much everything is written from now until Fyter Fest already. They've got the whole thing booked, whatever it is. This is booked to be exactly like a pay-per-view."
