Report: More Details On The Passing Of Road Warrior Animal

He sadly passed away last night...

Earlier today, the professional wrestling world was saddened to learn of the passing of Joseph "Road Warrior Animal" Laurinaitis. He was 60-years-old.

The official Road Warrior Animal Twitter account wrote: "At this time, we would like to confirm the passing of Joseph Laurinaitis aka Road Warrior Animal at the age of 60. The family is planning to release a statement later today. At this time we ask for you to keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers. #OhWhatARush."

TMZ reached out to local law enforcement who confirmed the WWE Hall Of Famer died Tuesday night of natural causes at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri. Police received a call from Animal's wife at approximately 11:49 pm on Tuesday but by the time they arrived on the scene, Laurinaitis' had been declared dead by emergency personnel. 

Animal and his wife celebrated their wedding anniversary on the day of his passing. He posted a photo of her on Twitter with the following caption: "Happy Anniversary baby, love you!"
