Report: Nash Carter Released By WWE

Nash Carter gone from WWE

Only days after he and MSK tag team partner Wes Lee regained the NXT Tag Team Championships at Stand & Deliver, Nash Carter has been released by WWE, according to reports from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer

Carter's release comes after he was accused of domestic violence by his wife and fellow wrestler Kimber Lee.

Lee posted two photos on Monday, April 4, while also writing: "Hey @WWENXT this is my face after your tag champ @NashCarterWWE got wasted and hit me so hard he split my lip open. He told me I'm a wrestler so I'm always marked up. I've hid this for a year and even forgave him. But I can't hide it anymore."

Lee then posted a photo of Carter giving a Nazi salute with a moustache similar to Adolf Hitler's, tweeting: "Just another look into the kind of person @NashCarterWWE is….@WWENXT @wwe. I've hid so much for so long because I was so mentally abused. Not to mention the countless anti LGBTQIA+ statements him and his family make…..I was so ridiculously brainwashed. So manipulated. And it's finally over. I will never allow myself to be abused like this again."

After performing in IMPACT Wrestling as Zachary Wentz, Carter and tag team partner Wes Lee signed with WWE in December 2020 and they debuted on NXT one month later. They went on to win the 2021 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and later the NXT Tag Team Championships.

They lost the titles to Imperium at Halloween Havoc, ending their first reign at 201 days, but they regained the gold at Stand & Deliver, winning a Triple Threat Match against Imperium and The Creed Brothers.

As of writing, Wes Lee remains under contract with WWE.
