Report: Nigel McGuinness Trying To Return To The Ring
Nigel McGuinness may wrestle again
A legendary ROH name could well be getting the wheels turning for an in-ring comeback, as a report has indicated that Nigel McGuinness is in the process of getting himself ready for a return to action.
In a report from Fightful Select, it is stated that McGuinness has been “taking measures to try to return to the ring”. The report went on to say that whilst it isn’t known if the former ROH World Champion has even been cleared to wrestle, things are still looking as though he is readying up to compete.
In regards to the upcoming AEW All In show from Wembley Stadium, the report had this to say, “We can confirm that McGuinness was brought up in recent months as a possible competitor on the AEW All In card. However, we can’t confirm if there are plans in order for him to wrestle, or if it’s been broached internally by All Elite Wrestling.”
McGuinness hasn’t wrestled since all the way back in 2011, spending the last 12 years without returning.
