Report: No Plans For AEW To Sign Mia Yim

Mia Yim won't be All Elite

All Elite Wrestling added another former WWE talent to their roster this week as the popular Keith Lee made his AEW debut on Dynamite, defeating Isiah Kassidy in a Face Of The Revolution Qualifier.

While the promotion may have signed Lee, though, there are no plans to add his new wife Mia Yim to the roster, Sean Ross Sapp reported during a Fightful Select Q&A

Why AEW wouldn't be interested in signing the former Reckoning is unclear, but Sean Ross Sapp did note: "I don't want to get in to specifics, but ultimately, if Tony Khan wants to bring someone in, he's doing to do it. He has the final say, and he'll make a judgment call."

Yim has been a free agent since she was released by WWE in November of 2021. Prior to that, she had regularly performed on WWE TV since 2018.

She spent her first couple of years on NXT but she moved to the main roster in September of 2020, being repackaged as Reckoning as part of the RETRIBUTION stable.

Prior to her WWE run, Mia Yim was a popular star on the independent wrestling scene and for various promotions, including IMPACT Wrestling where she was a former Knockouts Champion.
