Report: No Plans To Release NXT UK Talents At This Time

That roster is safe for now...

Tony Quant of Mirror Sport is reporting that there are apparently no plans for WWE to release talents from its NXT UK roster.

Quant wrote, "Just spoke to a source who has confirmed that WWE NXT UK will be making no cuts to its roster at this time. Also the roster are getting paid in full and will not be furloughed as they are all self employed!"

The only name linked to NXT UK that has been released as of press time is Kassius Ohno. The American NXT performer had been working with the UK brand, as both a wrestler and a coach in recent times.

WWE made a number of roster cuts and staff furloughs over the preceding days, as the company has trimmed several dozen performers, producers, and trainers from the workforce.

The American version of NXT has had its share of cuts, from wrestlers such as Deonna Purrazzo, Taynara Conti, and Tino Sabbatelli, to the furloughing of Performance Center trainers like Ace Steel, Serena Deeb, and Kendo Kashin.
