Report: 'Nothing New' About Miro AEW Return

Seemingly no news on Miro returning to AEW

It’s been six months since we last saw Miro wrestle in an All Elite Wrestling ring, and it seems we are no nearer to a return for ‘The Redeemer’.

Reports in late 2022 suggested that Miro rejected creative plans from AEW regarding a return, and per a fresh report from Fightful Select, it seems there’s been little movement on ‘God’s Favourite Champion’ returning to AEW.

The report states that Miro and AEW are believed to have met after rumblings of Miro rejecting creative plans emerged, but there’s been no news as to refreshed creative plans for the former WWE star.

Miro wrestled just four times in 2022, a sharp contrast to a strong 2021 that saw Miro lift the TNT Championship and become one of the top stars in all of AEW. His last match saw him team with Darby Allin and Sting in victory over The House of Black at All Out 2022 last September, but since then there has been no sign of him. Miro is said to be healthy and ready to go, and has several years remaining on his AEW contract.
