Report: NWO Originally Scheduled For WWE WrestleMania Weekend Appearance

NWO appearance was originally planned

A former top faction in World Championship Wrestling and WWE were originally scheduled to be a part of WrestleMania 38 weekend.

Fightful Select reported that the nWo were "tentatively planned" for WrestleMania weekend, and WWE planned to bring in Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan and others to promote the nWo 4-Life edition of WWE 2K22.

There is no word on if WWE still plans to bring members of the nWo following Scott Hall's passing.

Scott Hall sadly passed away on March 14 after suffering three heart attacks at 63-years-old. The Bad Guy underwent hip surgery one week earlier but post-surgery complications resulted in a blood clot getting loose.

Along with the standard and deluxe editions of WWE 2K22, a premium nWo 4-Life edition of the latest video game was released with a price point of £104.99. Included in the edition is nWo attires for Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hulk Hogan, as well as Syxx and Eric Bischoff playable characters, among other pieces of downloadable content.
