Report: Optimism Within WWE Following Raw

An optimistic roster in WWE following Raw

The post-SummerSlam edition of Monday Night Raw on August 1 was received positively by professional fans and that positivity extended to within WWE.

Fightful Select has reported that this week's Raw "created a lot of optimism for a lot of talent" and many wrestlers across WWE noted they have a renewed optimism with Triple H now in charge of creative. Two top talents specifically stated they were excited to not wrestle the same person every week and they hoped that wouldn't be an element of Triple H's booking.

There was also positivity about the booking of Ciampa and Mustafa Ali on the show. Ciampa earned a United States Title shot on Raw after first winning a Triple Threat against Chad Gable and Dolph Ziggler before he defeated AJ Styles in singles action. Mustafa Ali was involved in the other Triple Threat that Styles won to face Ciampa along with The Miz.

An NXT talent noted that Dakota Kai rejoining WWE so quickly after Triple H's appointment as head of creative was "a great sign" and they were hopeful about their own future within the organisation. A top wrestler outside of WWE also pointed out the renewed focus on the women's division.

Furthermore, Triple H has received credit for integrating Vince McMahon creations like Maximum Male Models into his own product. No talents on the roster have raised any concerns about McMahon no longer being in charge of creative either.
