Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley collided for the second time in singles action during this past weekend's Crown Jewel premium live event.

Though The All Mighty largely dominated the contest, it was The Beast Incarnate who came out on top by countering Lashley's Hurt Lock submission move into a pin.

After the match, Lashley attacked Lesnar and put him in the Hurt Lock again, suggesting that a third match could be in the offing. The two are currently tied 1-1 (after Bobby beat Brock to win the WWE Title at Royal Rumble).

According to Dave Meltzer, WWE originally planned to book the 'rubber match' for a now-cancelled show.

Speaking on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said:

"The story of the match is that Lashley totally dominated him, but Lesnar won the match. It leads to they're one and one now, and there's a natural third match…I don't know if they're going to save it for WrestleMania, or I don't know when. Originally it was going to be Day 1, but obviously, that's out. I don't know if they'll do it at Survivor Series. I don't know…I'm not sure where they'll do it. They may do it in Montreal or save it for 'Mania".

In a post-match interview with Byron Saxton, Lashley expressed frustration at losing to Lesnar and claimed that he had 'failed' before walking off.
