Report: Possible WWE Plans For Karrion Kross Revealed

What could WWE possibly have planned for Karrion Kross?

In a major moment to close Friday Night SmackDown, Karrion Kross and Scarlett returned to WWE less than a year after they were released by the company.

Kross immediately inserted himself into the main event picture, attacking Drew McIntyre while he cut a promo about his upcoming Undisputed WWE Universal Title match with Roman Reigns at Clash At The Castle. The Herald of Doomsday then stared at Reigns and The Bloodline as Scarlett placed an hourglass in the ring.

Following Kross' return, Fightful Select revealed WWE's possible plans for the two-time NXT Champion, reporting that a specific pitch within creative would see Kross be involved in the Roman Reigns-Drew McIntyre feud and challenge for one of The Tribal Chief's world championships.

The reason for Kross possibly challenging for just one world title is USA Network - WWE's TV partner for Raw - want a world title to be featured on the Monday night show more regularly. Another pitch from the network was to have an interim championship but it is unknown if WWE seriously considered that idea.

Roman Reigns has been the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion since WrestleMania 38 but he has rarely appeared on Monday Night Raw, spending much of his time on Friday Night SmackDown when he does appear on WWE TV.
