Report: Randy Orton Sustained Deep Bruise During Last Week's WWE Raw

It appeared that Randy Orton picked up an injury last week on Raw during his match with Riddle. 

The Viper was seen to roll his arm and favour his shoulder, with the 14-time WWE Champion having a history of shoulder injuries. He has previously been written off television on a number of occasions due to requiring surgery on his shoulder.

This led to some concern that Orton has done some serious damage to the area again, but Fightful Select is reporting that, while the 41-year-old did indeed get injured in the match, it is not thought to be severe. 

They report that Orton sustained a deep bruise to the area, hence why he was favouring his arm, but it does not appear that the injury itself is serious. 

Orton was back in action on Monday's Raw, teaming with his opponent from last week, Riddle, in a victory over Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin.

For now at least, it appears that the duo are going to be working together in the tag-team division.
