Report: "Reactionary Decisions" Expected On WWE Raw Following Record Low Ratings
Changes to the red brand could be on the way...
Dec 16, 2020
This week's edition of Monday Night Raw drew all-time record low ratings for WWE's flagship show. The December 14 episode averaged 1.526 million viewers and a 0.41 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, beating out the previous record lows of 1.561 million viewers and 0.46 in the 18-49 demo.
Ratings were so low on the red brand that last week's episode of AEW: Dynamite on TNT was higher in the 18-49 demographic than all three hours of Raw.
Following the ratings, WrestleVotes reported the record low wasn't "sitting well" with WWE management and "reactionary decisions" are expected to be made.
They tweeted: "Talking a source just now who said the record low RAW rating news isn't "sitting well" with those in power. To a point where they expect some reactionary decisions to be made. Time will tell."
If any changes will be made to Raw remains to be seen, but Vince McMahon hasn't been afraid to change things up on Monday nights when confronted with declining ratings.
