Report: Reason For Scrapped Scarlett Match On WWE Main Roster Revealed

Scarlett was internally scheduled to wrestle following WWE SmackDown

Scarlett was seemingly set to wrestle on the WWE main roster following the December 2 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, with an internal listing stating that Scarlett was scheduled to team with Karrion Kross and Damian Priest to take on Matt Riddle, Braun Strowman, and Liv Morgan in a dark match.

The match didn't happen, though, and Riddle, Strowman, and Morgan ended up teaming with Madcap Moss against Legado Del Fantasma. According to Fightful Select, the match listing was either an internal error or a scrapped pitch from sometime before the show as plans for Scarlett and Karrion Kross had been set well before Friday's SmackDown. Scarlett being in a match on Friday also "would have been a surprise to her," one source told Fightful.

Scarlett has only had one match in WWE since she first signed in 2019, an untelevised bout against Shotzi in June 2021. Scarlett has instead been utilised as Karrion Kross' manager on WWE TV across her two runs with the company.

Scarlett did have nine matches during her brief stint outside of WWE in 2022, with her most recent match being a win in Major League Wrestling at their June 2022 taping.
