Report: Reason The Lucha Brothers & Bandido Have Been Absent From AEW TV Revealed

Where are The Lucha Brothers & Bandido?

All Elite Wrestling are without three of their Mexican stars due to visa issues, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

The Lucha Brothers haven't appeared on AEW TV since they and PAC dropped the AEW World Trios Titles to The Elite on the January 11 episode of Dynamite. Bandido, meanwhile, has not wrestled for AEW since his loss to Bryan Danielson on January 18.

Meltzer addressed their absences on Wrestling Observer Radio, reporting:

"A lot of people brought up, what happened with Pentagon, Fenix, and Bandido. There's visa issues and there all through wrestling right now. WWE's finally cleared it up. They had Dragunov back and Satomura is coming back. So, many of these people have had issues coming in and here you are in El Paso, Texas, and Bandido, Rey Fenix, and Pentagon would have been over like crazy on this show and they were not even on the card."

Kenny Omega also recently suffered from visa issues that kept him off AEW TV after the January 11 edition of Dynamite until his return on February 1. Several former NXT UK talents also had visa issues while transitioning to NXT, with Ilja Dragunov returning to NXT on Tuesday, while Meiko Satomura will return next week.
