Report: Reason Why WWE Star Was Not At Recent Raw
A WWE star was not in person at this week’s edition of Raw
The February 20 edition WWE Raw took place live from Ottawa, Canada. But one star was notable by their absence, as Chelsea Green instead was sent to Ottawa, Illinois instead.
Green sent a video message to raw claiming someone had messed up her flight booking, but it seems there was more to Green’s absence than just a funny segment on Raw. A report from Fightful Select suggests that Green - a Canadian national - is currently landlocked in the USA whilst awaiting a Green Card, meaning she can’t leave the country for fear of being denied re-entry.
The report alleges that Green has been landlocked ‘for months’, with Green reportedly unable to leave the USA since Summer 2022.
Green returned to the WWE in January 2023, making a surprise entrance into the women’s Royal Rumble match, lasting mere seconds before being unceremoniously eliminated.
Since the Rumble, Green has wrestled twice, losing to Asuka in singles action on the February 6 edition of Raw, and teaming with Sonya Deville in a tag match loss to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on the February 10 edition of SmackDown.
