Report: Rey Fenix Able To Work AAA TripleMania Regia

The match is still on

Rey Fenix's status for the upcoming AAA TripleMania Regia show has been revealed.

Doubts about the luchador's status for The Lucha Brothers' AAA World Tag Team Title match against FTR arose following Wednesday's edition of Dynamite. It was announced during the episode that Fenix was dealing with an injury and had been unable to travel to Duluth, Georgia for the Rampage taping.

The Lucha Brothers were initially scheduled to defend their AEW World Tag Team Championship against FTR in a Two Out Of Three Falls Match on Rampage. PAC ultimately replaced his Death Triangle faction-mate for Rampage and he and Penta faced FTR in a non-title match that will air on Friday.

Fenix's injury was only in storyline, though, according to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer and he will be in action at TripleMania Regia on Saturday, December 4. The AEW World Tag Team Champion missed the Rampage taping due to "travel difficulties" which prevented him from getting to Duluth, Georgia for the show.

AAA TripleMania Regia will air from Monterrey, Mexico on Saturday, December 4. Check out the card for the pay-per-view below:
