Report: Rey Mysterio Missed WWE Raw Due To A Medical Issue
Rey Mysterio was set to face Veer Mahan on last night’s edition of WWE Raw
The April 11 edition of WWE Raw was originally set to feature Veer Mahan taking on Rey Mysterio in singles action, but Mysterio was instead replaced by son Dominik in the bout.
Rey Mysterio did not feature at all on Raw, and according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio Rey was missing due to ‘a medical issue’, although Meltzer did not disclose what the issue could have been.
Veer made short work of Dominik on Raw, carrying on from his impressive debut assault on both Mysterios after finally coming on the April 4 edition of Raw. Dominik was stretchered to the back after a post-match assault from Veer, and it seems the feud between The Mysterios and Veer is set to continue.
Mysterio has an extensive history of injuries, although he has enjoyed a good run of form in WWE since late 2020, and whilst nothing has been said to suggest that Mysterio is injured, it is hoped that he will be back sooner rather than later.
