Report: Scrapped Plans For The Brock Lesnar & Omos Segment On WWE Raw Revealed

A more elaborate segment was originally planned for WWE Raw

The programme between Brock Lesnar and Omos continued on the March 27 edition of Monday Night Raw. A weigh-in was scheduled to take place on the show and Omos did indeed have his weight recorded.

Before Brock Lesnar could step onto the scales, though, the multi-time world champion charged to the squared circle and turned back the clock as he picked up speed and threw himself at Omos in an attempt to knock the big man down. Omos was ultimately able to fend off Lesnar's speed before he sent The Beast Incarnate scurrying from the ring after he threatened to hit him with the scales.

According to Fightful Select, WWE originally planned for the segment to be more elaborate with a UFC-style presentation. The weigh-in would have featured towels along with a WrestleMania podium and red carpet. Why WWE decided to scrap those plans for the segment is unknown.

Omos and Brock Lesnar will clash at WrestleMania 39 on April 1 or April 2 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. There has been uncertainty around Lesnar's future with WWE but any plans for the 45-year-old are reportedly being kept top secret
