Seth Rollins and AJ Styles will fight in the Night Of Champions opener
WWE is set to make history by crowning a brand new World Heavyweight Champion at the 2023 Night Of Champions PPV event when Seth Rollins takes on AJ Styles in a major singles match. However, despite this being a match of big importance, with the winner heading up the Raw brand as world champion, this match won’t be main eventing the evening per a report from PWInsider Elite.

In the lead up to this event, WWE has promoting the show as having ‘three’ main events, with the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa, along with Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar also included in the billing for this triple header. Whether this means WWE is viewing this as a secondary belt or simply deems a match involving Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar as more important isn’t clear.
