Report: Some WWE Talent Considering Going On Hiatus

They are frustrated by WWE's lack of communication during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic...

Since early March, WWE has taped all of its programming from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The company has repeatedly reiterated that Superstars are wrestling on a voluntary basis, and some talent like Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn have decided to stay at home during the pandemic.

Last night, the company announced a developmental talent had tested positive for COVID-19. Today's tapings were also cancelled so all staff could be tested for coronavirus. WWE plans to resume production tomorrow.

WWE Superstars didn't know about the positive test in advance and only found out after the news broke online and on social media. Louis Dangoor at WrestleTalk also revealed the roster were unaware a small group of fans had been allowed to attend the tapings until Bryan Alvarez and Jon Alba reported the news last night.

Dangoor noted this lack of communication has led to some talent becoming increasingly frustrated with the company and they are now considering going on hiatus until after the pandemic ends.

Whether more WWE Superstars decide to go home remains to be seen, however.
