Report: Spoiler On WWE SummerSlam Plans For Rhea Ripley

Potential WWE SummerSlam plans for Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley’s WWE SummerSlam plans have reportedly been revealed, with the Women's World Champion set to play a part at the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’.

Ripley was not in action at Money in the Bank on July 1, instead accompanying Dominik Mysterio for his match against Cody Rhodes. A new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that Ripley will be in action at SummerSlam, with an internal listing within WWE scheduling Ripley against WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez with Ripley’s Women's World Championship on the line.

Since the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion was re-christened as the World Women’s Championship, Ripley has managed one televised defence of the gold, defeating Natalya on the July 3 edition of WWE Raw.

Meltzer also reports that Ricochet vs. Logan Paul is under consideration for the event.

Updated potential line-up for WWE SummerSlam, August 5, 2023:

  • Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso
  • Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
  • Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch
  • Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair
  • GUNTHER vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler
  • Ricochet vs. Logan Paul
