Report: Superstars Frustrated By WWE's Plans To Travel Again

Less than thrilled...

WWE's residency at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida is set to expire on October 31 unless both sides agree to an extension. All main roster programming has been broadcast from the arena since August 21 and the company's stint inside the ThunderDome is due to end with the October 30 episode of SmackDown.

WWE reportedly started planning for life beyond the ThunderDome recently and Superstars have been told tentative plans are in place for the company to start travelling again. The plan is to tape Raw and SmackDown in the same place, but WWE hasn't made any final decisions on locations.

Fightful Select reached out to several Superstars following the news and the reception backstage was that of "groans and frustration." All talent admitted they miss fans being in attendance, but they are concerned about the realities of travelling during a global pandemic, particularly as WWE had its third COVID-19 outbreak recently.

One top wrestler on the roster also said the company has done little to instil confidence that they can prevent an outbreak while touring.
