Report: The Rascalz Set To Sign With WWE

It was revealed on IMPACT! that The Rascalz would be leaving the promotion next week because they had been served an eviction notice for the treehouse as they haven't paid rent in two years. 

PWInsider's Mike Johnson confirmed their departure was legitimate and wasn't part of a storyline. The faction will go out with a bang as Trey will team with IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann against Dez & Wentz. 

The Rascalz are seemingly heading for newer pastures. Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. reported Trey, Dez and Wentz have a "standing offer" from WWE and them signing on the dotted line is considered a formality.  

The group enjoyed a two-year run with IMPACT Wrestling. Dez and Wentz primarily pursued the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship while Trey had chances to win the X Division Title and IMPACT World Championship. The group has also been one of the biggest names in independent wrestling over the past few years and Dez & Wentz are the current PWG World Tag Team Champions, having defeated Santana & Ortiz for the belts two years ago.
