Report: The Rizzler Injured At AEW Full Gear

Pro wrestling can be a dangerous game and The Rizzler found that out at AEW Full Gear in November 2024 as the TikTok sensation injured his hand while ringing the bell at the AEW pay-per-view.

That is according to Joey Janela anyway, who told Fightful In The Weeds:

"The Rizzler got injured at AEW. From ringing the bell, he hurt his hand. He hit the bell too hard. Giancarlo was the Rizzler's handler that day. He had to get him a little wrap and ice pack. He sent me a picture of Rizzler icing his hand. He bashed the ring bell too hard and got injured. His first wrestling injury. That's why he's not showing up too much. He's like, 'This wrestling life is not for me.'"

The Rizzler was the special guest timekeeper for Big Boom AJ vs. QT Marshall on the Full Gear Zero Hour, a match that AJ worked with a broken foot. The Rizzler's injury mustn't have been too severe as he pulled Rizz face after Rizz face during the match.

Big Boom AJ has been out of action with the broken foot since Full Gear but he is scheduled to wrestle at AEW Revolution on March 9.
