Report: The Young Bucks, Flag Of Hong Kong & IMPACT Wrestling Included On WWE ThunderDome Banned Image List
No Superkick Parties on WWE TV...
Nov 3, 2020
During the early days of the WWE ThunderDome, some fans used the LED Screens to have some fun as a giant teddy bear, Pikachu and Mario could be seen during broadcasts of Raw, SmackDown and pay-per-views. Other users decided to display a Ku Klux Klan rally and an image of Chris Benoit, however, which prompted WWE to condemn their behaviour.
The Famous Group, the company behind the Thunderdome, were a Golden Podium Laureate at the 2020 SPORTEL Awards for their work on the WWE digital fan experience. As part of showcasing what they do, the company produced a behind the scenes video which showed a list of banned images inside the ThunderDome.
The likes of The Young Bucks, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Vickie Guerrero and Jim Cornette are all banned images. WWE also seemingly doesn't want to annoy the Communist Party of China as the flags of Tibet, Taiwan and Hong Kong are forbidden as well.
