Report: Thunder Rosa Is Ready To Return, Waiting For AEW Creative

Thunder Rosa is reportedly ready for a comeback

Thunder Rosa has been on the sidelines for over a year, wrestling her last AEW match all the way back on AEW Dark: Elevation in August 2022, teaming with Hikaru Shida & Toni Storm to defeat Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir, and Nyla Rose.

Due to injuries, Rosa was taken off TV, and eventually had to relinquish the AEW Women’s World Championship, bringing her reign as champion to an unsatisfactory end. She did return to AEW programming in 2023 in the lead up to the creation of Collision, being one of those shown requesting more TV time in Tony Khan’s office. However, unlike others such as Andrade El Idolo and Miro, Rosa hasn’t yet been featured on Collision.

Despite assumptions of Rosa still being injured, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has reported during a Q & A that Rosa is in fact ready to go, and has been for some time. He stated that she is waiting for creative plans, with that being the reason for her continued absence.
