Report: Top NXT Talent "In The Race" For WWE Main Roster Call-Up

A top star could be on their way out of NXT

NXT could be set to lose one of their top stars.

This week's taping of Main Event ahead of Monday Night Raw on April 24 featured two NXT talents as Joe Gacy suffered a loss to Dexter Lumis and Cora Jade was defeated by Nikki Cross.

WWE management were left impressed by Cora Jade at the taping and higher-ups are said to be "really high" on the former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion following Monday's match, according to PWInsider Elite. Some within the company now feel Jade is "in the race" for a main roster call-up.

It was not revealed when WWE might look to bring Jade to the main roster but it was noted this week that she is seen as a potential call-up during the WWE Draft. The latest roster shakeup will take place on the April 28 episode of SmackDown and the May 1 edition of Raw.

Other names tipped to move to the main roster include Joe Gacy, Tyler Bate, Grayson Waller, and Pretty Deadly.

Cora Jade has been with WWE on the NXT brand since January 2021. She was recently in a feud with Lyra Valkyria, defeating the former NXT UK talent on this week's Spring Breakin' episode of NXT.
