Report: Trench Departs AEW

Trench has left All Elite Wrestling

One of All Elite Wrestling's developmental talents has departed the promotion after a short-lived run on TV.

Following his removal from the AEW roster page, PWInsider has reported that Trench has exited AEW after his deal expired. All Elite Wrestling seemingly opted not to offer Trench a new deal.

Trench made his AEW debut back in December 2022, forming Mogul Affiliates with Swerve Strickland and Parker Boudreaux. The faction were not featured performers on TV, though, with Strickland picking up wins over AR Fox and Brian Pillman Jr. before a tag loss to Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes on the go-home episode of AEW Rampage before March's Revolution pay-per-view.

It emerged shortly after that Trench and Parker Boudreaux were out of action due to injury. Trench never appeared again on AEW TV before his departure. He never had an AEW match.

Mogul Affiliates has since merged with The Embassy to form the Mogul Embassy. Parker Boudreaux remains under contract with AEW and he noted following Trench's exit that he wasn't going anywhere.

Prior to his brief AEW career, Trench (AKA Granden Goetzman) was a minor-league baseball player and was drafted in the second round by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2011.
