Report: Triple H Leads Talent Meeting Before WWE Raw, Promises Greater Transparency

Triple H's first meeting as head of WWE creative

Following his appointment as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and head of WWE creative in recent days, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque held a meeting with WWE talent prior to Monday's episode of Raw, according to Fightful Select.

Triple H led the meeting and promised talent there would be greater transparency, something some wrestlers didn't feel had existed under the previous regime. The Game also stated he wants "open lines of communication between himself and talent" and he wants working in the company to be fun.

Reaction to the meeting from talent has been positive, with many of them noting that it "went really well." There was also optimism from others within WWE about the changes to creative.

Triple H's appointment as head of creative came after Vince McMahon announced he was retiring from WWE on Friday, July 22. A Wall Street Journal report has since stated that the 76-year-old's retirement was hastened by the SEC and federal prosecutors beginning to investigate hush payments made by McMahon since 2006.

Past reports have noted that McMahon paid over $12 million to women in the last 16 years to "suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity."
