Report: Two WWE NXT Stars Officially Turn Babyface

Official changes in store for the NXT Women’s roster

Two members of NXT’s women’s division have officially turned babyface according to reports.

According to PWInsider, Indi Hartwell and current NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez are now officially considered babyfaces on the brand.

The babyface move for Hartwell is no surprise considering the success of her run with Dexter Lumis as ‘InDex’, with the popular couple set to ‘marry’ on an upcoming episode of NXT. With Johnny Gargano rumoured to be transformed into NXT’s top heel, it’ll be interesting to see how Hartwell’s face run will pan out, and what this will mean for Candice LeRae.

In the case of Raquel Gonzalez, the NXT Women’s Champion has been positioned as more of a babyface in recent weeks, with Dakota Kai definitively working as a heel in the pair’s recent title feud, which culminated at TakeOver 36 with a victory for Gonzalez.

Gonzalez has worked heel for her entire NXT run, having originally debuted as Dakota Kai’s bodyguard, following several appearances in the Mae Young Classic.
