Report: Update On AEW's Taping Schedule Following Rampage Announcement

The new show will premiere in August

The long-talked-about second AEW TV show became a reality yesterday and 'AEW: Rampage' is scheduled to premiere on Friday, August 13 at 10 pm ET.

With Rampage, All Elite Wrestling will have four weekly shows with Dynamite and Rampage on Turner Broadcasting and Dark and Dark: Elevation on YouTube.

According to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, Rampage will often be a taped show, similar to Dark, Dark: Elevation and some current episodes of Dynamite. The go-home show before a pay-per-view will be live, like the November 5, 2021, edition of Rampage, but most episodes will be taped on Wednesday nights.

Meltzer said: "Everything is up in the air, but the gist is there will be some Friday live shows but they will not be a regular thing. For sure, the Friday before every pay-per-view will be live. They'll run Friday night and then either Saturday night or Sunday. On non-pay-per-view weeks, my impression is it's mostly gonna be Wednesday tapings of everything."

Rampage will be a one-hour series and Tony Khan noted on Busted Open Radio it will be treated as an 'A' show, similar to Dynamite.
