Report: Update On Batista's WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

What is the latest on Batista's WWE Hall of Fame induction?

PWInsider have provided an update on the Hall of Fame status of former WWE star Batista.

According to the site, he will not be inducted in this year's class.

Announced for induction so far this year are The Undertaker, Vader and Queen Sharmell, while Sid and the Steiner Brothers have been rumoured.

Internally, the belief is that Batista will officially be inducted next year when the ceremony takes place in Los Angeles, California. The site further states that Big Dave will be in attendance in Dallas, Texas this year for The Deadman's induction.

The Animal was originally announced as an inductee into the class of 2020, before the ceremony was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

WWE further postponed his induction in 2021 (where the combined 2020 and 2021 classes were inducted simultaneously) as they wanted him to headline a class where the ceremony could take place in front of fans.

Batista's last match was a loss to Triple H at WrestleMania 35, after which he announced his retirement.
