Report: Update On Goldberg's Status For WWE WrestleMania 37

Will the former Universal Champion be at 'Mania?

Back at Royal Rumble 2021, Goldberg stepped inside the squared circle for the first time since WrestleMania 36 and was defeated by Drew McIntyre in just over two minutes.

The former Universal Champion currently has a two-matches per-year deal with WWE but his second match of 2021 won't be at WrestleMania 37, according to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer.

Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Goldberg won't be at The Showcase Of The Immortals, and neither will The Undertaker or Brock Lesnar.

He said: "No Goldberg, no Undertaker, no Lesnar. So you've taken some of the biggest attractions off and Edge does not replace them. We've seen that, he just doesn't. Edge looks old. Edge is gonna get a lot of criticism."

Another big name set to miss WrestleMania 37 is John Cena. The 16-time world champion is currently in Canada filming Peacemaker and he has previously said there is "no mathematical way" he can be in Tampa, Florida for April 10 and April 11.
