Report: Update On Kevin Owens' Status For WWE Survivor Series

Will the Prizefighter make it to Survivor Series?

A new report has provided an update on Kevin Owens' status for the upcoming Survivor Series premium live event.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Owens had been at the Performance Center doing rehab this week and he 'was not moving well'.

KO suffered a suspected sprained MCL during a match with Austin Theory when he landed awkwardly on his leg at a non-televised live event last weekend.

Meltzer added that there was no indication one way or another whether he will be able to work Survivor Series, but that it should be made clear on tonight's episode of SmackDown, where the reveal of the fifth member of the babyface team for the men's WarGames match is scheduled to take place.

If he is deemed fit to compete in the WarGames match, he will be revealed as the fifth member tonight. If not, WWE will add someone else in his place.

Meltzer stressed that Owens was definitely scheduled to be at tonight's SmackDown taping.

Survivor Series: WarGames takes place on November 26.
