Report: Update On Matt Jackson Following Partial Biceps Tear

Latest on Matt Jackson's injury

Matt Jackson is set for a stint on the sidelines after it emerged the two-time AEW World Tag Team Champion had sustained a partially torn biceps. Jackson suffered the injury during The Elite's match for the AEW World Trios Titles with House of Black and the Jericho Appreciation Society.

The Young Bucks have since been written off TV, having been laid out ahead of last week's episode of Dynamite. Their attackers were not revealed but The Bucks believe they were assaulted by Blackpool Combat Club, who are currently feuding with The Elite and Hangman Page as a reunion between Hangman and his former faction mates continues to be teased.

It was noted that Jackson had decided not to undergo surgery, a procedure that would have kept him on the shelf for seven months. Jackson is still set to be out of action for a substantial period, though, and Fightful Select reported that Matt "will miss quite a bit of time." How long exactly Jackson will be on the shelf is unknown, but there is reportedly "a good chance" he remains on TV in some capacity.

If/when Nick Jackson will return to TV during his brother's absence is also unclear.
