Report: Update On Ronda Rousey, Bron Breakker's Inclusion In WWE 2K22

Plenty of DLC Superstars

WWE's latest video game, WWE 2K22, is set to be released on Friday, March 11 on current and past-generation consoles.

As with past releases, 2K22 will include roster packs as downloadable content.

Who will be in those packs has yet to be officially revealed but Michael Straw of Sports Gamers Online noted Ronda Rousey will be added to the game as DLC.

WWE asked for Rousey to be included in the game in late January but the decision was made not to add her to the main roster because her return was uncertain at the time. Rousey will also require a new scan and additional resources to add her to 2K22.

The former Raw Women's Champion was a pre-order bonus in WWE 2K19 and part of the main roster in WWE 2K20.

Several NXT stars are also planned to be in a future 2K22 DLC pack, according to Straw, including NXT Champion Bron Breakker, North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and former NXT Tag Team Champions MSK. WWE reportedly asked for the four talents to be included in the title when WWE transitioned from NXT to NXT 2.0.

NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov is also being worked on for 2K22, as is Doudrop.

Along with NXT Superstars and Rousey, numerous released WWE talents will be available in 2K22. Check out the full list here
