Report: Update On Why Santana Missed AEW: Dynamite

He wasn't present for all the bickering...

The drama within The Inner Circle continued on this week's edition of Dynamite. MJF eliminated Sammy Guevara from the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale to open the show and the tension between the two men continued when The Salt Of The Earth threatened to throw in the towel during Chris Jericho's match with Frankie Kazarian.

The Painmaker ultimately secured victory with a Judas Effect out of nowhere, but the bickering in the faction continued after the bell and Jericho told his friends they have a week to decide if The Inner Circle should stay together.

One member of The Inner Circle, Santana, was noticeably absent from the broadcast.

According to Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net, the four-time IMPACT World Tag Team Champion didn't travel to Jacksonville, Florida for this week's Dynamite because of the personal issue. His absence was reportedly not health-related.

Santana is unlikely to be at The Inner Circle ultimatum on next week's show either. The December 9 Dynamite was taped yesterday and the AEW star wasn't present at Daily's Place.
