Report: Update On WWE NXT's Taping Plans For Holiday Period

NXT tapings are on the way ahead of the holidays

As the holidays continue to draw closer, WWE are planning to put some episodes of NXT in the can that will see them through to the new year.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, NXT will be live from the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday, December 13. The December 20 and December 27 shows will be taped in advance, though, at a taping on Wednesday, December 14. The developmental brand will resume live editions of the Tuesday night show in 2023.

While NXT is often live, WWE have taped shows in advance sporadically in 2022.

Ahead of what will be a mini-break for NXT talents, the brand will host the NXT Deadline premium live event on December 10 at the Performance Center. That show will feature the first-ever Iron Survivor Challenge matches, as well as an NXT Championship match between Bron Breakker and Apollo Crews.

NXT also reportedly have big plans for 2023, with the brand set to leave the WWE Performance Center for the NXT Vengeance Day premium live event on February 4.
