Report: Update On WWE's Plans For Lita Following Raw Return

After just under a year off WWE TV, Lita returned to the company on the February 6 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Becky Lynch was in action against Bayley in a Steel Cage Match on Monday Night Raw and after IYO SKY prevented Lynch from escaping the cage, Lita made her return, running to the ring and pulling SKY to the floor. The WWE Hall of Famer then grabbed Dakota Kai's crutch from her, sending the Women's Tag Team Champion tumbling, before Lita smashed the cage door into Bayley's face. The interference allowed Lynch to connect with the Manhandle Slam for the pinfall victory.

Lynch and Lita then celebrated together inside the cage and on the ramp to bring the segment to an end. 

Lita's return seemingly won't be a one-night deal, though. According to WRKD Wrestling, Lita will team with Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus in a six-woman tag team match against Damage CTRL at Elimination Chamber. The match will seemingly be set up next week when Trish Stratus makes her own return to WWE TV.

"Expect Lita tonight. Trish next week. Becky/Trish/Lita against Damage CTRL at Elimination Chamber," WRKD Wrestling tweeted ahead of Raw.

If the bout takes place at Elimination Chamber, it will be Lita's first since she lost a Raw Women's Title match to Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber 2022. Trish Stratus has not wrestled since she lost to Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019.
