Report: USA Network "Happy" With WWE NXT Ratings

A happy USA Network when looking at WWE NXT's ratings

While NXT's ratings have fallen in recent years, with the show having averaged between 551,000 and 685,000 viewers on USA Network in 2022, the TV station are happy with the developmental brand's viewership, according to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast.

"They're doing good in the ratings. 620,000ish, they're not doing terrible. USA Network is happy with this. I had a conversation with someone on Tuesday from USA and they're like, 'Yeah, we're fine with the six-somethings,' because listen, even with that slammed roster with like NXT being NXT they were doing the 700,000s. USA doesn't care if there's some WWE guys there, they just want ratings," Zarian said.

NXT has underwent major changes since September of 2021, with the brand having reverted back to being wholly focused on developmental.

Vince McMahon's vision has also been imposed on the brand during Triple H's absence and the likes of Bron Breakker, Tony D'Angelo, Grayson Waller and Carmelo Hayes have been prominently featured on the Tuesday night show, while main roster wrestlers like AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz have appeared in the Performance Center to help boost ratings.
