Report: Vice TV To Release Documentary On Vince McMahon

Vice TV to look at Vince McMahon’s career

After his controversial retirement from WWE, Vice TV have revealed that they will release a documentary on Vince McMahon in October.

Per a report from PWInsider, the documentary is said to focus on McMahon’s career, and will also cover the ‘hush money’ scandal that ultimately led to his retirement.

Vice had previously found success with the Dark Side of the Ring series, but with co-creators Evan Husney and Jason Eisener currently focusing on their Tales from the Territories series there’s no word on if the pair have anything to do with this upcoming McMahon doc.

Vice aren’t the only network set to air a documentary on McMahon, with HBO Real Sports producing something on McMahon, whilst a four-part Netflix docu-series on McMahon is also in the works. Abe Riesman’s McMahon biography ‘Ringmaster’ is also set for release in March 2023.

Prior to McMahon’s exit from WWE it was reported that WWE and Blumhouse Television were set to work together on a ‘United States vs. Vince McMahon’ show, presenting a dramatised look at the steroid trials of the early 1990s. However, there is no news on if this has been cancelled or not.
