Report: Vickie Guerrero Set To Leave AEW

Vickie Guerrero reportedly set to depart AEW

Vickie Guerrero is reportedly set to leave All Elite Wrestling after three years with the company.

The report come from Grapsody’s Righteous Reg via Fightful Select, with it confirmed by sources that Guerrero’s time with the company is set to end, with Guerrero and AEW mutually agreeing not to renew her deal when it expires in July 2023.

After initially appearing in AEW in 2019, Guerrero has primarily worked as Nyla Rose’s manager since the summer of 2020, whilst also having runs on TV in the corner of Marina Shafir, and Andrade El Idolo. Backstage in AEW, Guerrero has been heavily involved with AEW Heels, and contributed to several digital projects.

Guerrero recently took to Twitter to tease a fresh start, but it’s not known if this is to do with her AEW departure or not:

“Today a new journey begins…..my life is fulfilled with excitement and new opportunities,” tweeted Guerrero.

Vickie’s wrestling career started in 2005, with Guerrero quickly becoming one of the best managers in WWE, a role she would stay in until 2014, whilst also serving as the on-screen GM of SmackDown.
