Report: Vince McMahon Considering Appointing Shane McMahon As Executive Director Of WWE Raw

The Prodigal Son could be in line for a promotion...

Back on June 11, 2020, WWE announced Paul Heyman had been removed from his position as Raw Executive Director and replaced by Bruce Prichard. Brother Love has been overseeing both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown ever since.

This could be set to change as Alex McCarthy at Sportskeeda reported Vince McMahon is considering appointing Shane McMahon as the new head of the red brand. McCarthy did note, however, that he was unable to confirm the information with multiple sources.

The Boy Wonder has been involved behind the scenes for some time and previous reports noted he helped put together the 2020 Men's Royal Rumble match. WWE Network documentaries have also shown Shane helping his father produce shows at the gorilla position.

Prichard being replaced on Raw wouldn't come as a surprise to many as the host of Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard Conrad Thompson previously told Wrestling Inc. that Bruce was "tired" and under "a lot of stress" because of his increased responsibilities.
