Report: Vince McMahon "Super Impressed" With WWE Raw's Piper Niven

Vince McMahon has been "super impressed" with Piper Niven since she debuted on WWE Raw, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. 

Niven currently finds herself as Eva Marie's reluctant muscle, 'Doudrop,' and there has been tension within the pairing over Marie's treatment of the former ICW Women's Champion. Niven has looked dominant on Raw despite Marie, though, and Doudrop has pinned both Asuka and Naomi in recent weeks. 

Mike Johnson discussed the storyline on The We Don't Need No Stinkin' Name Show' and the Doudrop-Eva Marie partnership is set to be featured on Raw going forward because Vince McMahon "loves" the planned end of the storyline.

"We're going to see a lot of Eva Marie and Doudrop, because Vince apparently loves the end goal. I was told he's super impressed with Piper Niven so far," Johnson said.

McMahon also reportedly wasn't initially in favour of the storyline, but he's loved the partnership since it debuted on TV. 

"The story I was told to me was, 'he wasn't sold on the idea, but let's do it.' Then after that first week, where Piper stood up to her, he loved it, he loved the facial expressions. Obviously, I'm paraphrasing stories I heard from multiple people. There's going to be a lot more storyline development with these characters in the weeks ahead," Johnson added.
