Report: Vince McMahon Unhappy With WWE Talent's Lack Of COVID-19 Precautions

The Chairman has been sending messages to the talent

Vince McMahon has reportedly been sending direct messages to WWE talent over taking responsibility for their own COVID-19 safety and precautions.

The WWE Chairman has reportedly been a leading figure behind the scenes in the battle to keep personnel safe from the coronavirus since the global pandemic took hold over a year ago, and Fightful Select is now saying McMahon has once again gotten 'particular' over talent safety.

The WWE boss has apparently been sending messages to WWE talent, both directly and indirectly, in an effort to dissuade them from taking any unnecessary risks. Such examples include, in the days prior to this year's Super Bowl, telling members of the roster not to attend Super Bowl parties without wearing a mask.

It is believed a particular incident, where a WWE talent or backroom staff member attended a theme park without wearing a mask, is responsible for McMahon's current personal drive for COVID-19 safety. There have reportedly been instances of staff seeing their backstage responsibilities reduced as a direct result of their failure to wear masks.

With WrestleMania 37 just over three weeks away, and with WWE reportedly planning on having 45,000 fans in attendance each night, COVID-19 safety remains of paramount importance to the company and it is clear McMahon does not want the planned card for the show impeded by the virus, like last year's event.
