Report: Wardlow Possibly Injured At AEW Rampage Grand Slam

Could Wardlow be injured?

A top star in All Elite Wrestling might be out of action.

Wardlow teamed with Samoa Joe during Wednesday's Rampage Grand Slam taping in New York City and the two champions defeated Tony Nese and Josh Woods on the show.

Wardlow may have picked up an injury, though, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio

"Wardlow may have...did you hear anything about Wardlow being hurt? Wardlow appeared to be hurt. I don't know how serious. He appeared to have a leg injury, but he did come back," Meltzer said.

Mr Mayhem has established himself as one of AEW's most popular talents since late 2021 and he became TNT Champion in early July. He has since successfully defended the title against the likes of Orange Cassidy, Jay Lethal, Ryan Nemeth, and Tony Nese.

Should Wardlow be injured long-term, it would require All Elite Wrestling to vacate another championship. The AEW World and World Trios titles were recently vacated on the post-All Out episode of Dynamite following a backstage fight between CM Punk, Ace Steel, and The Elite.
