Report: Warner Bros. Discovery Interested In WWE Programming

Warner Bros. Discovery might want a slice of that WWE pie

Could we see WWE programming pop up on TNT or TBS?

WWE's media rights deals for Raw and SmackDown are set to expire in 2024 and the company recently entered an exclusive negotiation period with their current TV partners in NBCUniversal for Raw and FOX for SmackDown. Should WWE decide to see what they can get on the open market, though, Warner Bros. Discovery would be interested, according to James Andrew Miller.

Miller said about Warner Bros. Discovery's interest in WWE on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast: "I think so. I wouldn't be surprised, despite the fact that money is such an issue for them, I wouldn't be surprised if Warner Bros. Discovery wouldn't like a slice of that WWE pie."

After it was noted that Warner Bros. Discovery already have a deal with All Elite Wrestling, Miller added: "I don't know but I know there are people at Warner Bros. who are interested [in WWE]."

Warner Bros. Discovery do broadcast WWE programming in the United Kingdom as the media conglomerate owns BT Sport. The channel is set to rebrand as TNT Sports later this year.

Warner Bros. Discovery appear to be happy with AEW and a third TV show from Tony Khan's promotion is reportedly set to premiere on TNT later this year.
