Report: When Ilja Dragunov Could Be Called Up To The WWE Main Roster Revealed
Ilja Dragunov could be on his way to the WWE main roster in the coming months
Many fans feel Ilja Dragunov is ready to make his way to the main roster and the former NXT UK Champion could be set to appear on Raw or SmackDown later this year.
Reports in recent days have noted that a handful of development talents will be gradually making their way to the main roster. Talents expected to be on Raw or SmackDown soon are Bron Breakker, The Creed Brothers, and either Ilja Dragunov or Dijak.
It is not definitive that Dragunov will be heading to the main roster but if he does, WRKD Wrestling have stated a possible call-up wouldn't happen until after SummerSlam in early August. Dragunov has been rumoured to join Imperium on the main roster and Unbesiegbar has a long history with the faction, having feuded with GUNTHER on the independents and in NXT UK.
Dragunov made his way to NXT in 2022 after NXT UK was shuttered in August of last year. He recently defeated Dijak in a Last Man Standing Match at NXT Battleground on Sunday, May 28.
